Divine Liturgy held at historical St. Mary’s Church of the Holy Belt “Um az-Zinnar” in Homs

Homs: After a long period, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Mor Selwanos Boutros Alnemeh in the ruined Church building of St. Mary Church of the Holy Belt “Um az-Zinnar” in Homa Syria.
His Eminence was assisted by the Priests of the Archdiocese of Homs and Hama and hundreds of faithful attended with tears and Joy. Local government authorities and Muslim clergies too participated and delivered solidarity messages.
Let us all pray for the release of the abducted Metropolitan’s Paul and Yuhanon Ibrahim.
