DECR Chairman met with Russia’s ambassador to the Republic of Korea

On September 23, 2009 the Chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with Russia’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Konstantin V. Vnukov, at his request. During the meeting a wide range of issues connected with Orthodox Christianity on the Korean peninsula was discussed.The meeting was also attended by DECR Acting Secretary for ‘the far abroad’, priest Sergey Zvonarev and DECR associate, D.I Petrovsky.
