Coptic Orthodox Church, Egyptian Ministry of Labour Sign MOU to Tackle Unemployment

Cairo-Egypt: The Coptic Orthodox Church and Egyptian Ministry of Labour signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) on the 8th of July in the presence of Mohamed Ahmed Saafan, the Minister of Labor and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria at the headquarters of the Coptic Church in Cairo.
According to the MOUs, the government and the Coptic Church will promote the culture of work, entrepreneurial activities, awareness generation on work safety, proper training for the workforce for the labour market (affiliated with Govt. and religious bodies).
Pope Tawadors stated the importance of the cooperation between public and religious institutions to benefit all Egyptian citizens.
