Clergy Assigned to Serve at the Mother See – Brotherhood Members Complete Advanced Degrees
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
By Pontifical Order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, new appointments were made in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin:
Rev. Fr. Grigor Khachatrian has been appointed to serve in the Armenian Diocese of France. Father Grigor had been servings in Armenia as the Locum Tenens for the Diocese of Aragatsotn
Very Rev. Fr. Mkrtich Proshian has been appointed to serve as the Locum Tenens for the Diocese of Aragatsotn. Father Mkrtich had been serving as the Assistant Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of Holy Etchmiadzin, after recently returning from the United States.
Several members of the Brotherhood have recently returned to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin after completing their higher education and earning advanced degrees, outside of Armenia. By Pontifical Order of His Holiness they have been called to serve in different departments of the Mother See:
Rev. Fr. Shahe Ananian (Catholic University of Paris) was appointed to serve as the Assistant Editor of the periodical Etchmiadzin Monthly of the Catholicosate of All Armenians.
Rev. Fr. Ruben Zargarian (Gregorian University of Rome) was appointed to serve as the Office Director of the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Rev. Fr. Zaven Yazichian (St. Thomas University, Michigan, USA) was appointed to serve in the Internet Development Department of the Armenian Church, managing the content for the Armenian language pages.
Rev. Fr. Tajat Tsaturian (John Carroll University, Ohio, USA) was assigned to serve as the Assistant Dean of the Vaskenian Theological Academy at Lake Sevan (Armenia).
Rev. Fr. Tiran Petrosian (University of Vienna, Austria) was appointed to serve as the Assistant Dean of of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of Holy Etchmiadzin.
