Cleaning of the Tomb of the Holy Theotokos in Gethsemane

Jerusalem: On Thursday, September 10, the Church of the Tomb of Virgin Mary in Gethsemane, was cleaned by the volunteers of the Armenian Orthodox Church.
It is the Jerusalem Armenian Tradition that faithful believers volunteer and help cleaning the Church, together with Seminarians.
The Divine Liturgy on Sunday is traditionally celebrated by the Superior of the Church of Virgin Mary, and at the Requiem (Merelots) the names of the deceased family members of the volunteers who helped cleaning are mentioned.
