Church head to lead service

VISITING supreme head of the Indian Orthodox Church His Holiness Baselius Marthoma Paulose II will lead the Holy week services of St Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral this week.
Palm Sunday was celebrated last night and Holy Easter will be celebrated on Saturday at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam in Segaiya from 6.15pm.
Maundy Thursday service will be on Wednesday at 7pm and Service of Washing the Feet is on Thursday from 7pm at St Mary’s Cathedral.
Good Friday service will be at Al Ahli Sports Club on Friday at 7am.
Baselius Marthoma Paulose II will be assisted by Vicar Father Jacob Koshy and Father Varghese T Varghese.
The programme was announced during a Press conference held at the St Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral in Salmaniya yesterday.
