Chief Justice of India Inaugurates ‘Hruday Asha’

KOTTAYAM/KERALA/INDIA: “Services of Orthodox Church is exemplary”, commended the Chief Justice of India Mr. K.G. Balakrishnan. He was talking at the inauguration of ‘Hruday Asha’ project of Mar Gregorios Karunya Nilayam, Gandhinagar, Kottayam on Saturday, April 10, 2010.
“It is praiseworthy that there are centers like Mar Gregorios Karunya Nilayam that cater to the basic needs like food and board to those, who suffer deceases and poverty in tandem”, said the Chief Justice of India.
Catholicos Elect Paulose Mar Milithios presided over the meeting.
‘Hruday Asha’ is a helping hand that provides support to those, who suffer due to advanced age as well as financial constrains and are unable to have angioplasty, angiogram, and bypass surgery etc. get done.
Dr. Youhanon Mar Chrysostomos, Metropolitan of Niranam, Fr. Dr. T.J. Joshua, Chor-Episcopos Fr. E.K. George Enchakkattu, Fr. C. John Chirathalattu, Dr. Varghese Chemmanam, Prof. Jacob Kurian Onattu, Mammen Varghese, C.N. George and a large number of public from Kottayam attended the meeting.
