Celebration of the 300th Anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod Theological Seminary – Russia

Moscow-Russia: The 300th anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod Theological Seminary was celebrated on the 4th of July 2021 under the leadership of Metropolitan Hilarion, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate. Several bishops of the Russian Church, seminarians, priests and faithful took part in the celebration. The congratulatory message from Patriarch Kirill was read out on the occasion.
A film show on the history of the seminary was broadcasted for the participants alongside performances from various choir services. Choir performances by the seminarians, photo exhibitions were also part of the celebration.
