Catholicos-Patriarch Mar Gewargis III Visits Kirkuk – Iraq

Iraq: His Holiness Mar Gewargis III, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East has made his first Patriarchal visit to the Assyrian community of Kirkuk, Iraq since being elected to the Patriarchate.
His Holiness was received by The Rev’d Fr Gewargis Yosip Yosip, priest of St George’s Church, a large number of faithful and prelates and clergy of sister churches. A formal reception was given in the Catholicos-Patriarch’s honor and His Holiness consecrated the Holy Qurbana.
