Catholicos-Patriarch Mar Gewargis III Sliwa arrives in Kerala

His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Sliwa, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East has arrived in Kochi, Kerala on his first Apostolic Sojourn as Catholicos-Patriarch to the Archdiocese of Malabar and India.
His Holiness and accompanying prelates, His Grace Mar Narsai Benjamin, Bishop of Iran and His Grace Mar Abris Youkhanan, Bishop of Erbil and its Environs were received at the Airport by His Beatitude Mar Aprem Metropolitan, His Grace Bishop Mar Awgin Kuriakose and His Grace Bishop Mar Yohannan Yoseph along with a large congregation of clergy and faithful.
