Catholicos Baselios Marthoma Paulose II Celebrated Christmas at Dubai Labour Camp – 2018

Dubai- UAE: On 25th of December, 2018, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose II – Catholicos on the Apostolic Throne of St.Thomas in the East, Malankara Metropolitan and Primate of the ancient Malankara Church (the Orthodox Syrian Church of the East) visited the Aroma Labour Camp (Sonapur, Dubai) and celebrated Nativity with the  camp residents.

The Catholicos was cordially welcomed at the Labour Camp. His Holiness interacted with the inmates and delivered nativity and new year message. Sonapur is ‘famous’ for its labor camps. A large number of expats who make a living out of menial jobs live in Sonapur and nearby camps.
