Burglar takes electronics and donation box from Syracuse Church

Syracuse, NY — Someone stole electronics and a donation box last week from St. Mary & St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Syracuse, according to police records.
The church at 409 Oswego St. was burglarized Thursday morning, according to the records. Taken were a laptop, two small televisions, a VCR, a projector and the donation box.
A witness said he saw a man in a hoodie leaving the scene with items from the church, records stated. The witness, who had no phone, stood by the broken entrance door until a passer-by stopped and called 911.
The witness said he recognized a red cloth at the corner of Oswego and Tully streets and knew the church had been burglarized.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing.
