Bulgaria’s President and Minister of Education to Save Bulgarian Church in Rome

(Sofia, Jan 9) – Bulgaria’s President, Rossen Plevneliev and minister of education, Sergey Ignatov, will save the Bulgarian church in Rome.
“Bulgaria’s Head of State is quite worried with what is happening in the presented by late Pope John II church Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio a Trevi to the Bulgarian community in Rome. Due to this Bulgaria’s president has personally engaged himself to assist and help the Bulgarians get back to the church after the scandals around Christmas, Varna metropolitan Kiril Varnenski told the Standart.
He made it a point that Bulgaria’s education ministry is also working to resolve the problem, as the schooling of at least twenty Bulgarian children at the Church’s school has been suspended.
The Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church is going to officially notify the Holy See of the raging scandal.
