Bulgarians from Bosilegrad raise funds for the restoration of the burnt church in Bolgrad

Bosilegrad. The fund-raising campaign in Bosilegrad for the restoration of the burnt Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Bolgrad has ended, the Cultural and Information Center in Bosilegrad told FOCUS News Agency. The charity campaign was launched at the 19th International Children’s Easter Festival in Bosilegrad.
The campaign has managed to raise EUR 550. On June 4th, the sum is going to be transmitted by Aleksander Dimitrov, chief organizer of the Easter festival and initiator of the visit, in which Bulgarians from Bosilegrad will call on Bulgarian communities in Romania, Moldova and Ukraine from May 31st till June 4th. The visit is at the invitation of the deparment of education of Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, city of Komrat.
