Bulgarian state allocates money to 248 Orthodox Churches: Minister

Sofia. The state has allocated money to 248 Orthodox churches in Bulgaria in 2010, Bozhidar Dimitrov, Bulgarian minister without portfolio who is responsible for religious affairs, told FOCUS News Agency.
8 churches abroad, 22 mosques, 17 monasteries and 7 temples of other religions will receive money too, the minister added.
The state subsidy will be allotted for the construction of new churches or repairs.
