North Carolina-USA: Author and historian George C. Rable will deliver a lecture on the religious faith of Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States on the 5th of October Tuesday at the Hatch Auditorium, Caswell Beach, North Carolina as part of the Brunswick Civil War Round Table meeting. The discussion has been titled “Believer, Skeptic, or Something Else? The Elusive Mr Lincoln”.
The late US President Lincoln has been described as everything from a lifelong sceptic to an orthodox Christian. George C. Rable will discuss and explore the views of Lincoln on religion from his youth until his second inaugural address.
