Book on The Ecumenical Patriarchate published in Turkish

On Thursday, April 28, 2011, a reception was hosted by His All-Holiness at the Phanar for the presentation of a book entitled The Ecumenical Patriarchate, published recently in the Turkish language by the Publishing House «İletişim».
The book includes texts of Metropolitan Panteleimon Rodopoulos, Ambassador Alexis Alexandris, Baskın Oran, Cem Murat Sofuoğlu, Cengiz Aktar (also the editor of the book), Elçin Macar, Emre Öktem, Kürşat Demirci, Samim Akgönül and Paraskeva Konorta. Promoted as an effort to demonstrate the democratic values of Turkey, the official launching of the book will be held on May 24, 2011 in Istanbul.
