His Grace Ieronim of Sinaia, Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch, blessed Wednesday, 9 November 2016, the painting of St Nectarios Palliative Care Centre’s Chapel in Bucharest, Radio Trinitas informs.
In his homily, His Grace Bishop Ieronim stressed out how important it is to serve our neighbour within the existing care centres.
The director of the Palliative Care Centre, Mrs. Adriana Căruntu, appreciated the fact that the patients needed a worship place, where to rise up their prayers.
His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, inaugurated Saint Nectarios Palliative Care Centre on 24 October 2012.
