Banquet in honor of His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew marking the 20th anniversary of Election and Enthronement

On Friday, October 21, 2011, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios and the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle hosted a banquet in honor of His All-Holiness in celebration of the 20th Anniversary since His election and enthronement as Archbishop of Constantinople-New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch.
The event was held at the Four Seasons Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul. In attendance were Patriarchs Irinej of Serbia and Ilia II of Georgia, Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana and All Albania, His Excellency Francis Ricciardone, U.S. Ambassador to Ankara, and representatives of the Orthodox Churches, Hierarchs of the Throne from Europe, the United States, Crete and the Greek Dodecanese, and many other countries.
