Solomon Kibriye (Editor – Ethiopian Affairs) reports –In receiving the delegation at the airport, Abune Fanuel, the Addis Ababa Synod’s Archbishop of Washington DC was joined by the Exiled Synod’s Archbishops Abune Samuel and Abune Petros. The hierarchs of both synods publicly embraced each other at the airport in a historic event that brings the schism even closer to an end.
