Armenian church in Georgian village is consecrated again

ETCHMIADZIN. – The 19th-century Holy Cross Armenian Church, in Pokr Pamach village of Georgia’s Akhaltsikhe region, was consecrated once again on December 25.

During the Soviet years the Church was closed and it was used as storage. But the Church was restored in 1993, it restarted to function in 1995, and it was fully renovated.

After the Church’s consecration ceremony, a Holy Mass was celebrated, the sacrifices were blessed, and a celebration was held, the Holy See of Saint Etchmiadzin informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
