On December 4th, a final clergy meeting for 2015 of the Republic of Armenia Armed Forces Chaplaincy was held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The meeting was led by His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, the Head Chaplain of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The spiritual servants of the army corps gave reports accounting the works in the various military units. There was a discussion on the various spiritual and educational activities held with the soldiers. They also discussed organizational issues related to national and religious feasts and upcoming programs.

At the conclusion, Bishop Vrtanes conveyed his blessings to the army chaplain, encouraging them to continue their dedicated and responsible service with greater zeal.

Today, 51 clergymen are serving in the Republic of Armenia Armed Forces.
