Archons of “Panagia Pammakaristos” at the Phanar

On Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, May 22, 2011, following a celebration of the Divine Liturgy presided over by His All-Holiness at the Patriarchal Church of St. George, Mr. Apostolos Tamvakakis, administrative consultant to the National Bank of Greece, was invested as Archon of the Holy and Great Church of Christ.
The Divine Liturgy was followed by a reception attended by numerous Archons from Greece and hosted by His All-Holiness at the Phanar on the occasion of 20th Anniversary of “Panagia Pammakaristos” Brotherhood of Archons. In the evening, His All-Holiness attended a formal dinner hosted by the Brotherhood at the Hilton Hotel.
