Moscow-Russia: His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion – the Chairman of the DECR of the Moscow Patriarchate commented that Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus may no longer be mentioned in Diptychs by the Russian Orthodox Church. The comment was made in response to the statement made by Archbishop Chrysostomos II in which he mentioned Epifaniy Dumenko for the first time as head of the newly created Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
However, the decision regarding the ARchbishop will be executed by the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, and it is expected that the name of Cyprotic Archbishop will be removed from the Diptychs.
