Archbishop Nareg Alemezian and Roman Catholic delegates visited Catholicos Abune Thomas I
Syriac Orthodox Church in India – 2/1/14
India/Kerala: Armenian Orthodox Archbishop Nareg Alemezian (Ecumenical officer of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Lebanon) and Roman Catholic delegates (Cardinal Kurt Koch and Fr Gabriel) visited Catholicos Abune Thomas I ( Catholicos and Metropolitan Trustee of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India) at the headquarters of the Church.
The visit was as part of the annual conference dialogue conference between Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Roman Catholic Church. Metropolitan Mor Theophilos (Resident Metropolitan of Malankara Syrain Orthodox Theological Seminary) and Metropolitan Mathews Mor Anthimos (Muvattupuza region of Ankamali Dioscese) were also present for the occasion.
