Archbishop Makarios of Qatar (Jerusalem Patriarchate) on a Visit to the Indian Orthodox Church

Kerala-India: His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Qatar of the Jerusalem Patriarchate is on a visit to Indian Orthodox Church. Archbishop is one of the chief guests for the Gulf Orthodox Youth Conference held in Peerimedu, Kerala. The Jerusalem Prelate will also visit the ancient Niranam St. Mary’s Church established by St. Thomas the Apostle of India. The Archbishop met His Holiness Baselios Paulose II – Catholicos on the Apostolic Throne of St.Thomas and Metropolitan of Malankara (Primate of the Indian Orthodox Malankara Church) and other prelates.

Archbishop Makarios was installed as the Prelate of Qatar on March 10, 2013, by His Beatitude Theophilos III – Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
