Kerala-India: The world famous Syriac scholar, Arch Chor-bishop Fr Kaniyamparampil Kurian of the Syriac Orthodox Church entered eternal rest. He was 103 years old. He has translated large volumes of Orthodox prayers from Syriac to the South Indian language of Malayalam.

The late Arch Chorbihop have also served as the Priest Trustee of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India. He was one of the most respected Orthodox Priest in India. Funeral will be held later.
