Annual Regional Assembly of the Pan-Armenian Church Youth Organiation (ACYO)
From October 30th to November 3rd, the Annual Regional Assembly of the Pan-Armenian Church Youth Organization (Pan-ACYO) was held, in Berd, Diocese of Tavush, with the blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America; and with the support of His Grace Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, Primate of the Diocese of Tavush.
The Regional Assembly was attended by over 30 representatives from the Dioceses of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as from the youth organization of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese.
Before the Assembly, the youth attended the Ground Blessing service of the new Church in Dilijan, where they received the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
During the Assembly, the results and achievements of the Pan-ACYO activities were presented. The representatives reviewed the programs and project activities for the year.
The Assembly participants attended Divine Liturgy, offered in the St. Hovhannes Church of Berd and met with Mr. Harutyun Manucharyan, the mayor of Berd city.
Accompanied by Rev. Fr. Aram Mirzoyan, spiritual pastor of Berd and the region, the youth visited a border military unit, where cultural events were organized for the soldiers.
The participants also visited a border village, Nerkin Karmir Aghbyur, and expressed their solidarity to the people living under difficult conditions.
