Annual Missions Day at St. Vladimir’s Seminary Cancelled

[SVOTS Communications/Yonkers, NY] The second Annual Missions Day at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. has been cancelled, due to the closure of the campus from the recent storm, Hurricane Sandy. The Very Rev. Archimandrite Dr. Andres Girón de Leon and The Very Rev. John Chakos had been scheduled as guest lecturers, speaking on the topic: “Mission to Guatemala: Receiving the Mayan People into the Orthodox Church.” The lecture has not yet been re-scheduled.
