Angels Museum to Open in Moscow

Museum of Angels will open on 26 January in St. Nicholas Church in Kotelniki in the centre of Moscow. It is a metochion of the Orthodox Church of Czech lands and Slovakia.
The exposition will be made of more than a thousand figurines of angels from Angelina Mogilyovskaya’s collection. The exhibition will be open with the support of the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow State Unitary Enterprise “Moscow quality” and the cultural centre working in St. Nicholas Church.
“Since 1990 Angelina Mogilyovskaya has been bringing figurines from different countries she happened to visit, such as Brazil, Peru, China, Korea, the USA and many others. With her collection one can study geography, because all nations in the world have their angels”, – organizers of the exposition say.
