Three Deacons ordained for Malankara Archdiocese of North America

North Carolina: Mr.Chacko George and brothers Shawn Shaji and Subin Shaji were ordained to the order of Deacon( Koroyoo) by the Archbishop and Patriarchal Vicar of the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America, H.E.Mor Titus Yeldho Metropolitan at St.Nektarios Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, February 19th,2011.

Rev. Fr. Mathews Edathara,(Archdiocesan Clergy Secretary), V. Rev. Joseph .C. Joseph Corepiscopo (Vicar,St.Marys Syrian Orthodox Church,Georgia), Rev.Fr.Dileesh Alias (Vice President, Sunday School Association and Vicar,St.Mary’s Syrian Orthodox Church White Plaines,NewYork), Rev.Fr.Shibu Yohannan (Vicar,St. Marys Strian Orthodox Church South Florida), Rev. Fr. Kevin Milsapps (Greek Orthodox Church),Rev. Fr. Nijo Thampi (Kunnamkulam, Kerala),Rev.Fr.Bijo Mathews (Vicar,St.George Syrian Orthodox Church, North Carolina), Rev. Dn. Jerry Jacob MD, Rev. Dn. Shiryl Mathai (General Secretary, MGSOSA) and over 300 faithfuls from neighborhood parishes and community have witnessed the blessed Holy Ordination Ceremony, held for the first time in the history of the Charlotte St.George Church.
