Senior Metropolitan of EAE & St. Antony’s Mission (Honnavar Mission), His Grace Mor Polycarpus Geevarghese (78) Passed Away
KANNUR, KERALA, INDIA: Senior Metropolitan of Evangelistic Association of the East (EAE) and St. Antony’s Mission (Honnavar Mission) Of Syriac Orthodox Church in India, Mor Polycarpus Geevarghese (78) passed away at Amala Hospital, Iritty, Kannur on March 06, Sunday at 9.00 PM IST.
His Grace was in an Ayurvedic Treatment at Ulikkal, Kannur and was admitted to Amala Hospital, Iritty, due to Cardiac Arrest. The funeral will be at St. Antony’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral, Jeppu, Mangalaore (KARNATAKA) later. His Beatitude Catholicos Baselios Thomas I will lead the funeral ceremonies. All metropolitans of Syriac Orthodox Church in India will attend.
Funeral ceremony of H.G Mor Geevarghese Polycarpose will be held on Wednesday 2.00 PM at St. Antony’s JSO Cathedral, Jeppu, Mangalore.
