Russia’s Orthodox Church launches University
17/01/2011
Russia’s Orthodox Church has set up a university to prepare Orthodox staff for business and state companies, the official website of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill said on Monday.
The Russian Orthodox University was set up by the direct decree of the patriarch.
The move is driven by “the acute shortage of competent and competitive Orthodox staff in state, society and business,” a statement said.
The new university will be located in Moscow’s downtown Novaya Square.
