Victor Yanukovych Greeted UOC Primate on Anniversary of Bishop Consecration

On July 9,the commemoration of the Icon of the Mother of God of Tikhvin the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine marked 43rd anniversary of his bishop consecration.

The leader of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovych, who called to the Metropolitan’s residence at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, greeted the Archpastor on personal holiday, wished God’s assistance in his hard work and presented him with a bunch of roses.

In his turn Metropolitan Volodymyr thanked the political leader for his warm wishes and greeted him on his 59th anniversary he celebrated that day.
