Prisoner Baptized Into Orthodox Church in Moldova

Chisinau-Moldova: A prisoner and detainee, at the custody of the Penitentiary no. 13-Chisinau, was baptized into the Orthodox Church. The baptism was held at the Church situated within the correctional institution. After the service, the priest offered a baptism certificate and a Bible.
The baptism was preceded by three months of lasting preparation, through which the baptismal candidate attended catechesis lessons organized by the chaplain. The baptism was organised by the Synodal Department of Pastoral Activity in Penitentiary Institutions of the Metropolitan Church of Moldova.
