Consecration of the Church of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God (Kobylany) Held After Renovation

Warsaw-Poland: The consecration of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kobylany after the renovation was held on 18th July 2021. The parish church in Kobylany falls under the jurisdiction of the Terespol Deanery of the Diocese of Lublin-Chełm of the Polish Church. The consecration ceremony was performed by Archbishop Abel of Lublin and Chełm. At the end of the ceremony, Fr. Michał Ciuchaj, the parish priest was decorated with the Order of St. Mary Magdalene, II degree by the Archbishop.
The restoration works were carried out under the auspicious of the project “East Slavic Cultural Heritage – conservation, renovation, digitization of historic churches”, and also with support from the “Conservation and Revitalization of Cultural Heritage” program, Lubelskie Voivodeship, and the Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments.
