Alexandrian Patriarch to spend his vacations in Pyatigorsk
Moscow, August 24, Interfax – Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria and All Africa decided to take a medical course of mineral waters in the North Caucuses and started for the Pyatigorsk resort.
He made a stop in the Domodedovo airport to meet with head of the Synodal Department for External Church Relations Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, DECR reported on its website.
The Metropolitan told the Alexandrian Patriarch about recent trips of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to northern dioceses. Patriarch Theodoros conveyed to the Primate of the Russian Church a selection of documents on restoration of St. George Church in Cairo.
