Sofia-Bulgaria: Three new Orthodox Churches were consecrated in different locations in Bulgaria. Metropolitan Kyprian of Stara Zagora consecrated the Church of the Ascension in the village of Opalchenets in Daskalovi Brothers Municipality on the 4th of July. Again on the 4th of July 2021, St. Petka the Bulgarian Orthodox Church was consecrated in the Kyustendil village in Nevestino by Bishop Polycarp of Belogradchik, Vicar of the Metropolitan of Sofia and the Bulgarian Patriarch.

On the same day, the newly built church of St. George in the village of Zagrazhden in Banite municipality was consecrated by Bishop Visarion of Smolensk.
