Jerusalem: A Church building of the Romanian Patriarchate’s Representation in Jerusalem was attacked by radical Israeli Jewish settlers, according to local sources. Footage of a man attacking the Romanian parish in Musrara was as caught on surveillance camera. Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem has strongly condemned the attack and expressed solidarity with the Romanian Orthodox Church.

Patriarch Theophilos urged the international community to intervene by opening a dialogue with the Israeli government to halt terrorist attacks on Christian Churches. Extremist attacks on churches in Jerusalem are on the rise over the years.
