Polish Orthodox Priest Bestowed with the Małopolska Province Award

Warsaw-Poland: Fr. Dr. Roman Dubec, the Priest of the Cathedral of St. Trinity in Gorlice, is among of the winners of the Małopolska Province Award. The award is given to individuals who contribute for the protection and care of monuments of wooden architecture in Małopolska. Fr Roman Dubec is the Conservator of Monuments of the Przemyśl-Gorlice Diocese of the Polish Orthodox Church. He is extensively involved in activities related to the conservation of wooden architecture monuments.
He is an active cultural animator, who is involved in popularizing the idea of reviving wooden churches by organizing artistic events. Fr. Romana is also working to save old Cyrillic prints (in the Churches) from destruction.
