On the eve of commemoration of the Holy and Equal to the Apostles Prince Vladimir His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrated All-Night Vigils at Kyiv Caves Monastery
On July 27, on the eve of commemoration of the Holy and Equal to the Apostles Prince Vladimir, the Baptizer of Rus, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia performed the All-Night Vigil service in the square at the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Concelebrating to His Holiness were members of the Holy Synod, hierarchs from Russia and Ukraine, numerous clergymen.
At the matins His Holiness anointed all faithful who prayed at the service.
On July 28, when the church remembers the Holy and Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Baptism of Rus.
