Kyiv-Ukraine: The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) celebrated the 30th anniversary of autonomy and self-governance. Fully-autonomy of the Ukrainian Church was granted during the tenure of Patriarch Alexey II of Moscow and All Russia.
Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Churches and monasteries of UOC-MP throughout the nation. An international academic conference was held at the Kyiv Theological Academy on the occasion of the anniversary. Celebrations were limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
