Addis Ababa-Ethiopia: The 32nd Enthronement Anniversary of His Holiness Abune Merkorios (Co-Patriarch and Catholicos of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church) was held in Addis Ababa with joyous Liturgical celebration.

Abune Merkorios was consecrated as the Patriarch and Catholicos of the Ethiopian in 1988. He was ousted by the EPRDF government in 1991 but was restored to the throne as the Co-Patriarch and Catholicos in 2018.
