Bishop Veniamin Appointed New Primate of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Belarus

Minsk-Belarus: Bishop Veniamin of Borisov and Maryina Gorka has been appointed as the new Primate of the Russian Orthodox Patriarchal Exarch of Belarus, reports spzh.news. The appointment was declared during the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church that was held on the 25th of August 2020.

Metropolitan Pavel, the former Primate of Belarus was appointed as the head of the Kuban Orthodox Metropolitanate.
