A New Monk in the Autonomous Orthodox Archdiocese of Ohrid

During the vigil service for the feast of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon, His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje John tonsured graduate theologian Stefan Brankovski.
The newly tonsured monk got the monastic name of Erasmus after Saint Erasmus of Lychnid (Ohrid). On the next day, at the Holy Liturgy, the Archbishop ordained the rasophoric monk Erasmus to the rank of deacon.
