SVOTS Doctor of Ministry Program is Accepting Applicants
SVOTS – 20/5/2020
[SVOTS Communications / YONKERS, NY] Feeling a call to renew and take your ministry to the next level? Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (SVOTS) is now accepting applications for the 2023 Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) Cohort and the deadline to apply has been extended to July 1, 2020.
The D.Min. program provides clergy, chaplains, and other pastoral professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in order to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering. Prerequisites include an M.Div. degree (or it’s equivalent) and a minimum of three years of active ministry following completion of the M.Div. The hybrid D.Min. program uses online learning and five-day onsite intensives at St. Vladimir’s Seminary in New York, which allows students to integrate their current ministry with doctoral-level theological research. Combining academic study with pastoral spirituality, this program will help you acquire and refine the skills to minister to those whom God has called you to serve.
Please consider joining us in a doctoral program that will give you an opportunity to foster deep and lasting friendships as we engage in work that contributes to authentic spiritual and pastoral renewal. Need-based financial aid and continuing education grants are available. For more information, please contact Fr. Sergius Halvorsen, the program director, at shalvorsen@svots.edu.
