28 Jun NGO – 9/7/19

28. Jun is concerned by the escalation of religious discrimination by the Montenegrin government against the Serbian Orthodox Church in the country. We call on the Montenegrin government to end its program of religious intolerance.

28. Jun Vice President Milo Dubak recently met with Amfilohije, the Metropolitan bishop of Montenegro, and pledged our continued commitment to underprivileged communities in the region. While 28. Jun Relations Manager Selena Despotovic brought up the issue with Jayathma Wickramanayake, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, at the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal.

$500,000 of the $7 million worth of humanitarian, medical and disaster relief aid 28. Jun has delivered to the Western Balkans has been in partnership with Serbian Orthodox Church.
