Inauguration of Sayfo Monument in Frias

On June 20, 2019, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated a Sayfo monument for the commemoration of the martyrs of Sayfo Genocide, on April 9 Park in Frias, Argentina.
The inauguration was attended by their Eminences: Mor Chrysostomos Youhanna Ghassaly, Patriarchal Vicar in Argentina, Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Chamoun, Patriarchal Vicar and Director of the Patriarchal Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh, and His Grace Bishop Luis Urbanc, Catholic Bishop of Catamarca, and His Excellency Dr. Ástor Anibal Padula, Governor of the Frias.
