In Memoriam: Ms. Mary [Masha] Troubetzkoy

SEA CLIFF, NY [OCA] — Ms. Mary [Masha] Troubetzskoy fell alseep in the Lord on the afternoon of Friday, June 4, 2010 after a brief illness.

The daughter of the late Serge Troubetzkoy, who for years served the Orthodox Church in America as archivist and in other positions, Masha served the Orthodox Church in America and its Chancery in a variety of capacities for some four decades. She never hesitated to offer her time and talents in whatever ways she could — a true image of the “wise and faithful steward.”

While additional information and biographical notes will be posted as soon as they are received, visitation and services, which will be held at Our Lady of Kazan Church, Willow Shore Avenue, Sea Cliff, NY, are as follows.

Saturday, June 5, a Panikhida will be celebrated after the Vigil at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, June 6, an additional Panikhida will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. The Funeral Service, followed by interment at Saint Tikhon’s Monastery Cemetery, South Canaan, PA, will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m.
