Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
On June 3, the members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin, having gathered together in Armenia for the 2010 Conference, visited the Yerablur National Cemetery and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to the Armenian Genocide to pay their respects and offer prayers in memory of all those who sacrificed and gave their lives for the cause of Armenian liberty and independence, as well as the 1.5 million victims of the first genocide of the 20th century.
At the memorial monument in Yerablur, the clergyman laid flowers in honor of the fallen soldiers. A repose of souls service was held as they prayed for the memory of the deceased.
The Brotherhood members placed a wreath in front of the eternal flame at the Armenian Genocide Memorial. They raised their voices to heaven and offered a Repose of Souls service for the rest of the souls of the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
